Mr. Lucky Man

I haven't posted anything for a long time. Sorry - have just been too busy with work, church calling and family committments.

I picked up a new CD today - Chris Isaak - Mr. Lucky Man. So far I quite enjoy the CD. The remake of "Breaking Apart" features a duet with Trisha Yearwood. The entire CD seems to have a feeling of the "Forever Blue" CD.

As you may know, Chris Isaak is a favorite around our house. So much so, that Wendy promised him after a concert that we would name our first son after him. Long story, but we ended up using the same spelling for our son.

Another more recent favorite at our house is Maroon 5. The kids like both and have requested them at times while in the car and at home.

I found this little gem today that combines both:






And for the record, I will try to post more about our family and kids - just in case people actually check back here every once in a while to see what we are up to.

Ready to wait TWO hours for a double-double?

So it looks like In-N-Out burger is finally going to expand further into Utah.

They are planning to open a store in Draper - hopefully by Fall 2009.

I think I am going to be taking more drives to Draper.

Flip! - it is almost Christmas

So last week I got a new toy. I am the proud owner of a flip ultra video camera. It has been fun to play around with and the quality is better than using our digital camera that is really made for just stills.

Tillie and Isaak wanted to share the Christmas songs they learned for school and sang at the School performance. Technically, Tillie was sick that day and wasn't there, so this is her only performance.


Isaak had to be reminded of which letter came next in spelling
C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S. Oh, the joys of learning how to read and spell.
You would think that they would leave that song for kids that actually know how to spell such a long word.
